The period when sex functions mature, roughly between 12 and 15 years of age in girls, and 13 to 16 years of age in boys is considered the puberty.

  • Assumption of the female type of figure.
  • Onset of menstruation.

PUBERTY EVIDENCE IN BOYS:

  • Increase in the size of the external genitals.
  • Appearance of pubic and Axillary hair.
  • Appearance of hair on the face and upper lip.
  • Change in voice, with deepening in tone.
  • Development of muscles and masculine figure.
