Scrub foot’s sole using a pumice stone

Since dead skin aggravates the problem of cracked heels, make sure you have scrubbed the sole of the foot using a pumice stone every time when you are taking bath. Pumice will file away the dead skin leaving the supple skin on the sole of the foot. The skin will not easily crack if it is well moisturized.

Debridement

An alternate way of removing the hardened dead skin from the soles of the feet is Debridement; a process where the hardened skin is removed by a professional. The professional will advice you on what to do to get rid of them for good and also treat the cracks that have been infected.

Omega 3 supplementation

Lack of omega 3 fats can cause dryness so it is important to supplement omega 3 and to eat foods that are rich in omega 3 like fish.

Ripe Banana

Applying ripe banana paste daily on cracked heels will help you achieve smooth and toned heels. After applying you have to leave it for 10 to 12 minutes and then you can wash.

Olive oil massage

Every night, before going to bed massaging your dried and cracked feet with olive oil will help you gain smooth heels. For best results, after applying olive oil wear socks overnight.

Cleaning and moisturizing

Cracked heels are more common in winter due to dryness. Daily cleaning and moisturizing can help a lot in this regard. Soak your feet everyday in mildly warm salt water for 10 to 12 minutes. It will not only help to overcome dryness but also makes you feel relaxed. After the process apply moisturizing cream for better results.

Rose water and glycerin

Mix rose water with glycerin and apply the mixture daily on your cracked heels. Do this for 15 days. You will be amazed to see the excellent results.

Applying any of these tips will give you excellent results when it comes to curing cracked heels.
